Dendrochilum wenzelii (yellow form)
This is the yellow form of Dendrochilum wenzelii. The plant is growing in a 4-inch plastic basket with New Zealand sphagnum moss as the media. I obtained this plant 3-4 years ago from H&R Nurseries. The plant is hung outside under 50 percent shade cloth. After the flowers die off, I plan to replant this into a 6-inch plastic basket with sphagnum moss. The plant seems to like sphagnum.

Thank you all for the nice comments. The flowers shown in the photo are a week old. They will start drying gradually over the next several days, from the base of the flower stem outward.

One Year Later (January 22, 2017)
This is the yellow form of Dendrochilum wenzelii blooming one year later (Jan 22, 2017). It is still in a 4-inch plastic basket with New Zealand sphagnum moss as the media.
