This orchid plant is endemic to the Philippines.
The plant blooms in the fall with a long cascading cluster of 1.5 cm wide rubbery scented flowers in the evening and in the early morning smells like my sneakers after a mile run.
I grow this from cool to warm temperature with medium to bright light on the south facing window. Potted in a 4 inches round plastic with fine bark, coco chip, lava rock, charcoal and perlite = I inherited this in moss but I was not comfortable so I repotted it in the orchid mix it is in now. I give it dry periods between watering and reduce watering during the winter to about once a week to mimic the dry season and the monsoon rainy season of its original habitat.
I feed this weekly weakly k-lite fertilizer with seaweed mix.
