Coelogyne speciosa
Has anyone ever had a closer look at a Coelogyne speciosa? I have never been a huge fan on coelogynes, I have a couple hanging around the greenhouse gathering dust. I haven’t paid much attention to speciosa, I find the species tends to hide its flowers under the foliage and one can easily miss one of the most intricate labellums in the orchid world, it is quite unusual under closer inspection.

My usitana hasn't been growing that well. I'm gonna have to figure out what it likes. It seems like when I get a new bulb, I lose a leaf.

It seems to be kind of touchy. I grow it like a phalaenopsis, only a tad drier and with more air movement. I am going to attempt to increase the watering and light to see if it thrives.

I think that actually has a great looking labellum. Great pattern on them.
