Dendrochilum formosanum
I'm trying to grow this plant into a specimen plant. The plant presently has 27 sprays of flowers and buds. It is growing in a 4-inch wooden basket with New Zealand Sphagnum Moss as the media. The plant is grown in a shady area and watered almost daily.

Two years later--Nov. 27, 2016. The plant has more flower spikes this time around. After the flowers dry out, I'll be transferring the plant into a larger basket and let it grow out some more. At the moment, the plant is in a 4-inch basket.

Nicely grown plant.
I never had much interest in Dendrochilums before moving here.
They grow so well and easy around here that I definitely will be looking fore more to add to my collection.
