Coelogyne cristata
Coelogyne cristata - a species I've struggled to flower well. But this year has been more successful. I think the trick has been more sun light.
I have a large specimen of cristata but never achieved the Christmas tree effect in blooming.
Maybe next season.

My I suggest more light. I am fortunate to see this species growing in the wild, on a trip I did to India and Nepal, and in Sikkim cristata was growning fully exposed in full sun light. I would suggest not putting yours in full sun without some form of protection but certainly it is worth a try. I don't know about your winters though, I live it Africa and we don't really have winter per se. My cristata is out doors all year round.

Our winters can get into the single digits but I do keep it outside in cool temps when possible. Have always been unable to provide full sun without getting the area get too hot so I depend on fans and simple grow lights in my humble attempts to "feed the beasts". Fingers crossed!

Humidity is a problem for us, we only have rain for 4 months in the year so during the dry season, humidity can get very low. Yes, it is challenging growing orchids in Africa, one needs to find the genera that best grows for our climate. But I enjoy a challenge.
