They have var. pumilum and var. recurvum listed. Their habitat has them 700-2700 meters elevation, putting them (I think) in the warm to ccld range.
They are found in mossy forests and exposed ridges so probably favor even moisture at sea level but able to dry a bit, IDK. Mossy forest suggest shade but exposed ridges sound like more light.
