Ceologyne cristata. to repot or not.
I have loved Ceologyne cristata for years and was lucky enough to get one at the Edmonton Orchid show in February.
I made a previous post when I first got it as I was struggling with its culture at first. Being so I ended up repotting it into a more moisture retentive mix right after I got it. I kept it in the same pot being it only had 2 growths at the time and there was plenty of room for them. Since then the plant has more than doubled in size.
So now the plant is climbing out of the pot and the pot is rock solid with roots.
So my issue is being new with these, all the growths are almost mature and are still putting out tons of roots. I am just wondering if I should repot this now or wait until it puts out some new growths.
I was just thinking about drop potting it into a bigger pot without disturbing the existing medium as it us still fresh and only about 3 months old.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Ps sorry if the picture ends up being sideways...I hate posting on my smart phone.
