Coelogyne Cristata var. alba
I was so excited when I got blooms forming on this. It's a first time bloomer for me (though I've had the plant for three years or so) and the flowers have only just died (so they lasted for a little over a month).
Absolutely gorgeous don't you think? and I'm hoping, now the first flowering's out the way, there will be more to come |

It is gorgeous! I love both the regular and the alba but the pure white blooms are my favorite.

Unfortunately, I couldn't detect anything from these flowers  It's a shame as I have other Coel. which are very fragrant and I admit that I expected this one to be as well |

They say it is supposed to be fragrant, but maybe next blooming cycle it will manifest.... you have big flowers with long ruffled petals compared to the pictures I have seen of these; you must be doing something really well....

Sorry to disappoint but my alba does not have a fragrance. This is my third season to bloom it. The normal cristata has a wonderful fragrance but the all white, zero.
