Default Coelogyne Cristata var. alba

I was so excited when I got blooms forming on this. It's a first time bloomer for me (though I've had the plant for three years or so) and the flowers have only just died (so they lasted for a little over a month).

Absolutely gorgeous don't you think? and I'm hoping, now the first flowering's out the way, there will be more to come

It is gorgeous! I love both the regular and the alba but the pure white blooms are my favorite.

Thanks All I absolutely loved having this one open. Brooke, I have the regular one as well - it has two leads but neither have flowered for me .... yet!

Unfortunately, I couldn't detect anything from these flowers It's a shame as I have other Coel. which are very fragrant and I admit that I expected this one to be as well

They say it is supposed to be fragrant, but maybe next blooming cycle it will manifest.... you have big flowers with long ruffled petals compared to the pictures I have seen of these; you must be doing something really well....

Sorry to disappoint but my alba does not have a fragrance. This is my third season to bloom it. The normal cristata has a wonderful fragrance but the all white, zero.
