Default Frosty dawn

My frosty dawn has started to get some small buds opposite the leaf. But after fertilizing some leaves have turned yellow and fallen off. I might have over fertilized, but I maybe under watering? How wet/ dry should I keep my den frosty?

Sorry, I am no help but I got one of these this fall from H & R. Since I have had it, some of the leaves are turning yellow and falling off too. I am wondering exactly what it needs so would like to see what responses you get. I haven't noticed any buds on mine.

Did you get buds developing? Or spike nubs starting?

Have you moved it to a different location recently? I had one that would drop leaves anytime it got moved. It also would drop leaves after repotting. It didn't hurt it, and it always grew like a champ. Got so big I had to sell it.

That's comforting to know as mine came bare root so of course it had been moved and re-potted!
