Thanks everyone for your comments.

If anyone lives in central Indiana and would like a piece of this, let me know. I'm going to attempt to split it in two (or maybe three, depending on how sharp the machete blade stays after I start hacking at the root ball :-), and will happily part with a piece of it if anyone who's in the area would be interested. No charge will be required, as I'm much more interested in making sure that the division gets a good home.

I have one and it is in a basket under my south facing roof. I haven't gotten it to bloom yet. It seems healthy enough, what with sending out new leaves but no blossoms. Does this need more sun?

If it's under a south-facing roof, it should probably be okay. Mine only gets direct sun during the winter months. During the rest of the year it stays under an east-facing roof, which means that it's possibly getting less light than your plant. Perhaps your plant is still too young to flower. They do get pretty large, so just have patience. Good luck.

LOL @ the mosquito admirers.

It looks like a great plant. I don't have the space for that big a plant, though.
