Default Coelogyne ovalis

Coelogyne ovalis Lindl., Edwards's Bot. Reg. 24(Misc.): 91 (1838).
Originally found in China, Assam, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam
A very hardy species which is easy to grow. It has relatively small flowers but the plant will form a huge specimen in time.
I originally got it mounted and didnt mess with it...just let it grow as is
I will try to take cleaner pics...this is just a quickie : its cold outside! BRRRR!

Your plant appears to be quite happy the way you are growing. Very healthy looking and rewarding you with flowers for all of the tender loving care.

Cute flowers, I'd never heard of this orchid before. I agree, why mess with success if it wa happy growing that way? Looks happy and healthy.

Thanks, Camille...I got this orchid plant last summer from a guy who is leaving the country and wants to dispose of all his mini collection...his loss and my gain...I got 7 minis from him...and hes got rare collections coming from south america and asia...this plant in particular loves my windowsill and I just followed the water regimen and fertilizer from the notes he gave me...Its best to follow his methods so the plants will not be so traumatized. But I need to add a bigger treefern slab for this plant to crawl into
