This is the first one to flower this year and the first time this bulb has flowered for me It's labelled 'Shantung Ridgeway', but, to be honest, I'm not convinced (as it should have a yellow lip and be more peachy-pink). Either way, I still think it's pretty

Gorgeous, I love these.

Mine from last year have not flowered again yet, although they seem to be growing. I have two new ones though bought last week (not got pics of them yet) and one of them looks like it is going to have two flowers on two growths

Two flowers, nice I have an Oriental Splendour which is sending out two growths, but I suspect by the shape that they're going to be leaves as they're not very rounded. Still, I live in hope

My two last year just had a second non-flowering growth, as does the first one I bought at the weekend... I was really suprised when this second one is showing a flower bud shape on the second growth.

Wow, these are nice are real interesting. Someone should write up a care sheet for this genus. I think there is a lot of interest.

They're (generally) nice an easy too - water/ feed during the summer, keep cold and forget about them during the winter, repot in Jan and start all over again!

I don't, but the Pleione website says you can (The Pleione Website). I live in an old house which has a larder off a scullery on the northeast corner, so I keep mine just above freezing in there.
