Default Pleione maculata... should I be seeing flowering growths by now?

I have a Pleione maculata which is one of the exceptions to usual Pleione culture as it's apprarently autum flowering. It's also meant to be warmer over the winter than other Pleiones as far as I can tell.

I was expecting to see some sign of new growth/flower growths appearing by now but I'm not sure if it's the right time or not.

Mine is loosing it's leaves but no sign of it doing anything at all.

Is anyone familiar with this species and it's culture?

cannot really help with cultural advice, but I would like to know where you have gotten it from? I am looking for this species since quite long in Europe but without success!

I got it from Burnham Nursary in south England back in March. They sell a range of Pleione species and hybrids.

It was just a tiny one bulb plant but was only about £6. I bought it on a visit in March and they had some when I visited again in July.

Not sure if they ship outside the UK or not, but here's a link to their website.Burnham Nurseries Online Orchid Shop

I can't see it on their website but I know they sometimes have stuff they don't list because they don't have enough of them. It may be worth giving them a call to ask.
