Hi Samarorchid and welcome to Orchid Board

I'm afraid I can't help with info on this orchid but I'm moved you post to the Colegyne Alliance area as it should get more people who can help looking at it than in the 'About this Board' area.

i have a cross of pandurata and bufordiense that grows moist....in cattleya light, and it blooms in the spring...it tooke me two years to bloom because i had to repot it often due to growth...it doenst like to be repotted so i found out.....give it a big pot and let it settle in and it should bloom for you....

I agree with the above post - Cattleya light, even moisture, and high humidity. The conditions need to be kept pretty even year-round, or the plants tend to get stressed.

This is a warm-growing species, so I'm sure it would do beautifully in Malaysia.
