Hi Triffid

Where do you live in the UK? If you want Dendrochilum try Malcolm Perry. Malcolm sells some unusual species, at very good prices and I have purchased a lot of my collection from him.

I have written a website about Dendrochilum but dont know if I can mention it on here, just type Dendrochilum into google and it should be the first thing that comes up.

Cheers
Trey

I live up in Lovely Lancashire. Does Malcom Perry have a Website or will he being any Shows in the future?

Just checked out the Google search. Believe I've found it, yep top of the list and worth Linking.
Dendrochilum - Introduction

I have bookmarked it too.

The super-mods don't tend to mind links to informative sites. As long as they are to do with Orchids and such. Even recommending Nurseries and the like is usually OK (where relevant)
If it's people spamming and trying get free advertisement, that's a different matter.

Thanks for that!
I'll now be sitting down for a coffee and a good read

No problem with informative links to orchid related sites at all

If it's links to your orchid related business then we need to feel that that's not your only reason for being here (to promote your business) but if it's just a site with great information then go ahead and post it

We don't even mind links to other forums if they are pointing to information on-topic for the thread.

In fact... here is a link to Trey's site which I've just searched out. Dendrochilum - Introduction

Sorry, missed that Triffid had already given the link.

Yeap, where relevant even recomending nursaries is fine. If it's a nursary you have used and can recomend and the context of the thread is such that a recomendation is being asked for (or in the vendor feedback section) then no problem at all

Double Link!

See the Super-mods at work on the OB

And after having a little look around Trey's site, I now know without a doubt that I need more Dendrochilums!

Hi Rosie and Triffid, thanks for your kind comments. I love everything about this genus.

@Triffid, Malcolm dosent have a website, you can google 'Malcolm Perry orchids' to get his contact details. These days Malcolm sells by appointment, at orchid talks or can send plants upon request.

Cheers
Trey
