Mel,
That plant is awesome! I know a lot of people grow these types on swivels so that they grow evenly in every direction and spin in the wind. Did you do this with this plant or is it naturally symmetrical?

Hi Steve. I have the plant elevated on a 10-inch diameter plastic pot so it sits higher than the surrounding plants. A couple of years ago, I rotated the plant every few days when the inflorescences started forming. I'm not sure it helped. In subsequent years I just left it stationary on the 10-inch pot. It is quite amazing that the inflorescences are displayed evenly around the plant. Unfortunately there are no orchid shows going on at this time of the year.

The last fireworks I saw weren't this spectacular. I'm sure it would be awarded at a show. Thanks for sharing this Beauty.

My plant started off like yours. From now on you should be doubling the number of your inflorescences each year.
