I purchased this Coelogyne mossiae in 07/08. The 'plant' was 10 old leafless pseudobulbs, the largest p-bulb was 1-1/2" tall w/ a pair of 5" long leaves and 1 new growth; all in a 7" round pot.
This summer the 'new growth' developed into a 3" tall pseudobulb w/ a pair of 10" leaves
And now there are two pendant, about 10" long, 7 flowered inflorescence.
The flowers are 2.5" across and are white with yellow marking the midlobe of the lip. I also like the deciduous tan floral bracts.
The flowers are reported to be fragrant, but I have not detected any fragrance.
Did not know what to expect when I purchased the plant. A very happy surprise
