That seems to be the thing with certain Dendrochilums.
The first time I saw Dendrochilum tenellum, I thought it was grass.
But the owner assured me they were orchids.
I like the Dendrochilum wenzelii btw. They are unique.

They seem easy to grow so far, it does look like grass and if my lawn is any indication it will be lush for a long time to come.....lol.

This is one of my wish list plants. The last time I saw one, it looked scraggly, and it had thrips, so I had to pass (I hate thrips more than any other insect). Yours is beautiful. How is it doing now?
