Default Dendrochilium not growing... may be slowly dying.... please help

I have a Dendrochilum ecallosum and it has never grown a bit since i bought it over year ago. Now it is slowly loosing all it's leaves (only 4 left) on about 20 bulbs. It is blooming size and I just repotted to make sure nothing was rotting and all I noticed was that the media was really dry. What is the best way to take care of this plant.. does it need a rest period? I can't find any info on this plant. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I only have experince with Dendrochillum magnum and glumaceum, but could be similar to yours. what I have found is that they need a lot of water... I have them growing in S/H (resented the transfer and skipped blooming until next season! - seems to be normal for the genus!), and I need to water twince as often as with the other plants I have in S/H... if you say the medium was very dry, maybe that's been the cause. You need to water more often!

I do not give any rest to my plants, and they seem to be happy this way
