Coel. ocellata (?)
I'm not sure about this one; the name on tag was wrong (Coel. speciosa), and the flowers looks like Coel nitida and Coel ochracea, and corymbosa too (but corymbosa lip is different). The plant is huge, and the flowers very small. Could anyone help me with this?

Federico,
I cannot see the flower spike properly so I am just guessing. What I was looking for in the flower spike was closely overlapping bracts just below the first flower. Your plant looks a bit like Coelogyne stricta (syn. coelogyne elata) although in my plant (hopefully going to flower soon! ) the colouring on the lip is more yellow than yours. If you have Dudley Clayton's book on Coelogynes his picture shows a lip colouring more like yours. Good luck trying to identify

Hi Mike!
Thanks for you guess! I looked at orchidspecies, and the "another photo" is very seemed ( http://www.orchidspecies.com/orphotdir/coelstricta.jpg ). The tag will be "Coel. stricta" (for now)

Bem! I am going to try and attach a thumbnail of my coelogyne stricta (excuse the botrytis). You will notice thta although the colour of the lip markings differ in your photo, the photo in orchid species and my photo (as well in claytobn's book) they all have two prominet lamellae (ridges) in the coloured area. Your plant should have tightly overlapping bracts below the first flower. check it out.

Frederico,
I do not have a password. When I created the album, being ignorant about computers, I just clicked in boxes and submitted. Other people have also commented that they cannot access my pictures. I would suggest that you ask Marty to try and rectify. Personally I do not know what to do. Hope that you can see the picture (enlarged) so that you can see the two lamellae (ridges) in the coloured area (yellow in my picture on the front lobe of the lip. Good luck
