Very nice indeed! The lip has great form. The bubbly look on the lip is quite a feature.

The lip is very bumpy and hard as plastic. I love it!

My goodness, that’s beautiful! I love how light the pink background color is against the darker spots. I would love to see a side by side pic with your other one

My 2N is opening flowers right now, so we should get a good side-by-side comparison of flowers and plant soon.

Notes:
1. 2N on left, 3N on right
2. The 2N has bloomed many times, while the 3N is on its second bloom
3. Both blooms this year are pretty year because I could not provide adequate artificial light this winter. The plants are so big!! I'm in the process of building a greenhouse right now.
4. This species should grow straight up neatly, like the 2N. The 3N is a bit catty wompus, most likely due to its proclivity to grow during winter! lol

I love spotted Catts and Cattleya amethystoglossa and its hybrids are definitely on my wishlist.
Thank you for showing us the comparison between a 2N and a 3N plant. There are never enough genetics content here! Very interesting!
