Update on this one and oppinions requested...
My last post in this thread was about a stalled growth...well, it didn't went much further that that. As a side note, this is a root machine, producing lots of them.

In the meanwhile, a new growth was born but the leaf never opened (photos bellow). That's when I thought something is wrong. As this species has intermediate to high humidity in its habitat, I assumed this was a case of low humidity.
In a "desperate" action, I started to give it more water and move it during night time to an environment with 60% humidity minimum. By the morning, I change it again to its location so that it can get the light it needs (but with an HR around 20-30%).
The leaf never unfold.
The result is a new growth (photos bellow).
What do you think I should do? Do you think this medium is too "thin"? Does it needs a coarser medium together with a plastic pot and some medium more water retentive?
I know the correct answer is a basket but I don't have good conditions for baskets (living in a flat, no place to hang it, etc).
