Cattleya walkeriana coerulea

I'm so jealous. Could you please tell me how you grow your plant. I've had one for a few years and all i get is small growths from it. I have mine mounted on cork and it faces a south window. I water it every day and fertilize it about twice a week when it's actively growing. I recently switched to a balanced fertilizer as opposed to a high nitrogen fertilizer in hopes that it will do better for me. I live in Canada as well.
