Wasn’t sure where to post this:

From a previous post, you can see I have a happy, healthy Brassavola little stars I’ve raised from a young plant. It is in semi hydro. It has been growing like a weed...to the point where it is outgrowing my space (mainly in area of upsizing humidity tray around it, and raising light high enough; leaves are going up into the light reflector). I might be able to make some changes, but am a bit limited as I’m in an apt and not my own home.

Anyone in the Columbus, OH area interested in adopting?
Familiar with semi hydro (and willing to cont, since this is what my plant is used to)?

Just sending out feelers. PM me if you’re interested and we can talk details.

Thanks. Happy orchid growing🌞

If no one contacts you about the orchid, try the local orchid society. There is one not far from where you live...you can always contact someone on their website and ask if they will pick it up or if you can drop it off. People often do this with our Orchid Society (Greater Akron Orchid Society) and the plants are used in drawings or given away.

Good luck!

Hmm, of three posts I made this morning, this one ended up not showing up. Oh, well, all I was going to say was I like Leafmite's advice. I have rehomed several of my orchids through my local society's raffle table. Even if you are not a member, it wouldn't hurt to talk to someone and see if they would accept it.

I do hope someone from our board can take it, though. That would be nice.

Thanks Cheri. I agree with it being ideal if someone here can adopt my gal.

I hate giving her up after all of this but a bigger space with additional grow room options would be Better for her. As long as the stress of moving doesn't have a negative impact.
