Seeking Blc. Arabesque Golden Zebra

Does anyone know of a nursery that carries/sells Blc. Arabesque Golden Zebra? I've been in search is this cattleya, it's my dream orchid.

Arabesque is the name of the cross. 'Golden Zebra' is the name of one particular clone somebody thought good enough to name. I don't see that it won any awards. Most of the time people don't propagate orchids via meristem cloning unless they win awards, so it will be hard to find this plant.

But - look around. There are a lot of orchids with very similar coloring, yellow with red streaks.

Also, are you already an experienced orchid grower? If not, consider growing some other Cattleya hybrids to learn how to do it. Often people fall in love with a kind of plant they haven't grown before, then become disappointed when it doesn't do well for them.

I searched and couldn't find anyone currently selling it. But, many times, the orchids turn up when/where one least expects it so do not give up.

Check out Carmelas, Hausermann's, Gold Country Orchids, Exotic Orchids of Maui and Kawamoto Orchids as they all have a nice variety of Cattleyas and might have something close.

I know what it is to pursue a dream orchid...long ago, for me, it was Angraecum magdalenae. Took one look and fell in love. I had never heard of Angraecums at the time but now I own a few others as well as my mag.

call the nurseries listed above and ask them if they have it. Some plants they may just have a one or two and not enough to list.
This site in Miami shows it on their cattleya list but they are out of it.

call them and see if they can scrounge a piece up for you. If no one carries it, you may want to place an ad the orchidmall.com classified ads seeking a division of it, someone will hopefully chime in... I have seen ads from collectors of classic cattleyas on there but they were seeking $$$....
it may be pricey... but that is the price of wanting something that is hard to find....

Thank you for the response Elena! I already emailed Russ last week and promptly responded and said he doesn't have any more divisions and to try again later, which I'm thinking can be quite a while.
