Frank it's gorgeous Thanks for the pictures close-up and the whole plant. I love the walkeriana type. How fragrant is yours?

They smells like the blooms of a lemon tree, comparably with the smell of Laelia purpurata and only early in the morning

Hi Frank,

I have a Cattleya walkeriana var. coerulea and have been looking for culture advice. Would you mind passing on some tips and wisdom considering yours is doing so well? I have mine in a bright east facing window and am trying to take him into a "dry winter rest" but am not sure just how dry it should be. He is planted in a 4" pot with coconut bark and peralite. I would be greatfull and thrilled for info/tips.

Congratulations, yours is lovely. The envy of all cattleya loving orchidboarders I'm sure of it!
