Thank you for all of your comments, everyone. Yes, they do get tall, but as Roberta indicated, they are not (thankfully) ramblers. Nothing like the intensely frustrating growth habit of Cattleya walkeriana. Cattleya bicolor is also very fragrant and the flowers last for almost a month for me.

Sounds perfect. I like my tall orchids. I have a few of the taller bifoliate species (seedlings though in 3” pots), or my Den lasianthera that’s pushing 30” and still just a wee baby
As long as it’s not a rambler AND tall. That would get annoying. Thanks!
