Miniature Cattleya, No ID
An unregistered hybrid with obscure background. Can be commonly seen in many Korean flower shops. It is called around as "Charming Ruby", but there is no hybrid registered in that name so it is either a clonal name or an arbitrary name. But I admit, it is a really fitting name.
From the look of the lips, it is most likely a hybrid between (former) Sophronitis and so-called rupicolous Laelias...perhaps between Catt (Soph) wittigiana and Catt (L) ghillanyi or lucasiana?
The plant itself is very small, with pseudobulbs less than 2 cm and leaves 3~4 cm long. Leaves are very thick. Flower is proportionally huge compared to the plant itself. (Natural spread 4.5 cm) It grows well in sphagnum moss.
Too bad it is a No ID.
