Question Need info on growing this Barkeria

I recently got Barkeria whartonianum x melanocaulon, and couldn't find much on it when I googled it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Rita,

Sometimes, you might not be able to find the cross but you might should look up the parents. This should give you a look on the growth habits and what the plant needs.

I agree with Gin. My barkerias grow mounted high in the greenhouse with daily watering during the summer. They grow like weeds and are starting to spike out right now....

I think mounted or in a wood slat basket no mix in it , I killed the one by leaving it in the pot it came in, stayed to wet . Good luck with yours Gin
