Default Cattleya bicolor (punctata?)

This one is blooming early this year. Not sure why. It usually blooms between mid July and early August. I have another Cattleya bicolor that's also getting ready to flower within the next week to ten days. So whatever happened, it's affected them both, since they're both flowering slightly out of season.

Very nice scent to the flowers.

Hi, Steve. This one was an EBay purchase, so I'm not sure where it originated.

Beautiful. You must put yours into bondage like I do to try and keep them straight.

Shannon, you are exactly right. I attempted to let it grow naturally. But "naturally" in this case meant that the new growths all angled out at around 45 degrees. So I got out the trusty orchid version of the Chinese foot binding equipment and slowly trained them back into a more (I hope) refined presentation.
