Awards at the most important orchid show in Brazil
It took place this week end the most important Orchid Show in Brasil, sponsored by the São Paulo Orchid Society (AOSP). It is in its 78th edition and is respected as a place where only the finest orchids are shown. Two of the five cattleyas I sent have been awarded, Cattleya eldorado var. pincelada with a second place and Cattleya labiata var. semi-alba with a third place (judging is ribbon type). I am very happy! I posted pictures of them both a few days ago, but here they are again:
BTW, Mr. Longhin's Cattleya labiata type, subject of a post days ago, has been awarded the best orchid in the show (Brazilian species)!
