2 first flowering seedlings. I'll update the not fully open flower when it does open. 1 & 2 flowers on heads here, recent pics of older plants show heads between 6 & 8 flowers per head. Working on achieving that with these.

Very nice Roy. What is that white stuff, looks like cotton wool, behind the flower?

Cheers

It's a acrylic "soft toy" stuffing Arron. It's used as a Bug stopper. Stops slugs & snails getting to flowers, it works 95% of the time. I do use baits as well as they do very well also. Again a 95% strike rate there also.
The stuffing is cheap & reusable where as the cotton wool I used to use isn't & is very hard to get in the roll form any more.

Very nice flower, Roy. The acrylic fiber is kind of like putting diatomaceous earth under the hostas to keep the slugs from feasting.

The second flower has nice spotting.
Too bad it has that white break on the lip. Will the color change on these as the flowers mature?

Not a colour break on lip. I think something crawled over it without eating it.

I'll report in on colour change if any.

Very nice blooms! I'm a huge fan of these sort of Catts, with spots and soft pastel colors.

Great idea to use acrylic fiber instead of cotton, I may have to steal that idea for some other plants!
