Cattleya walkeriana, var. alba
As a newbie I would appreciate a source/s for the titled orichid. I am looking for plant either in bloom or capable of blooming. I would like to find a supplier in Florida or at least as close as possible to Clearwater to avoid what could be very expensive shipping charges. I have not been able to find this orchid except as seedlings. Thanks in advance for your help. Regards

Dorothy, thanks for turning us to that great website!! that Catt walkeriana, var.alba is such a nice plant, i could have a load of them and id just love every minute of it, i wish i could find someone selling a flask or compot of these plants, seems like you see the ones with yellow lips a bunch though, theyre nice too, but evrey since i saw Mauro's solid white, Catt Walkrna, v, alba hanging in that basket with its roots hanging down all over just full of bloom,,it has been burned into my mind, my favorite plant,,,i like that site, i need to order one, i guess im about to give up on finding a flask or compot! i will have to wait to fill my green area with Walkeriana Albas,,, thank you for the site !! your such a help to everyone!!! thank you!!!!!

Craig - your quote is referring to orchids. Isn't it? (I hope)

Have you looked at Rueben in Orchids? They are in FL and sell on ebay. I swear I remember seeing flasks of this for sale just the other day. He re-lists often too, so keep checking back. You may want to just contact him directly.
