Cattleya Canhamiana 'Azure Skies'
First bloom for this plant. The flower is big, like 5.5 inches, and it has a delightful fragrance (just a sweet, floral fragrance, and very strong). Only one flower this time, but hopefully next time it will have more.

Breathtakingly beautiful colour! I’ve seen photos of this clone tending towards a dustier, more reddish shade of purple. I know purple and violet can be difficult to capture with the camera. Sometimes the camera picks up too much of the red, sometimes too much of the blue.
