1st flowering seedling. Flowered on from the cross last year which is opening now, way better flower than this if memory serves (that's a problem anyway), will post it next few days.
A 1st flowering seedling. Plant quite small & flower dwarfs it greatly. Quite a few faults with this flower, have to grow it on & flower a few times more tho.
Formal judging faults sometimes have little to do with commercial success. A small plant with a very large, color saturated and rounded flower will be a favorite with windowsill growers.

Both are nice, I like the shape of the first one. But the new seedling is not bad I don't think. I have had them look way worse on a first bloom. At least it is nice and round and big for the plant is always good.
The Rosella's Excellence isn't bad, it just has a few issues that are not good under Australian Judging standards. Will be flowered a few times to see what happens.
Issues are the furling & reflexing.
