Default Rescued NOID Cattleya hybrid

I received this NOID Cattleya hybrid as a rescue from an acquaintance who knew I grew orchids. At the time the largest leaf was 5" x 1.75" and had virtually no roots. After about five years I finally got it to bloom even though it's not getting as much light as it would like judging by the color of the leaves. The leaves are now measuring a healthy 9.5" x 3.75". I can't say that pink is my favorite color Catt. but I think I'll keep it.

1.5 weeks in and it developed a nice spicy fragrance that reminds me of cinnamon. Not strong but fills the room with a wonderful aroma.

13.33cm NS. Only been open for three days. I thought I was starting to detect a bit of fragrance this afternoon (although it was overcast and rainy).

It looks lavender on my monitor -- something about my settings, I'm sure -- but whatever the true color, it is very beautiful!

I thought it looked really familiar so I snooped around a little. It sure looks a lot like Lc. Drumbeat, an old classic. Or maybe one of its offspring, there are some that look similar. If it warms up a bit, I would guess that it can be quite fragrant. Great save! Congratulations!
