i have a mounted reedstem epi and i soak it daily for about a half hour
its youngest leaves have brown all along the edges
is this a nutrient defficiency?
Seagull, I can't imagine my 4' tall reedstem epi mounted. My understanding is that they are terrestial orchids. However, I can tell you when they are too dry, the leaves suffer. Maybe someone more savey than me will weigh in.

You would have to water a mounted reed stem Epi at least once a day in a typical house. Most people do much better with them in pots, because they can't water often enough.
