My Christmas bouquet
I noticed this cutie when watering and thought I would share...
I rotated these and saved them and they're still sideways. So sorry.

I zoomed in and can read part of the label - it is Epidendrum x Oerstedella, looks mostly like Oerstedella. So, a lovely branch of the Cattleya tribe.

It's beautiful! Most of the photos I've seen of this are of a much more lax plant that takes up a lot of space.
I think it's Epidendrum centropetalum, which used to be Oerstedella centradenia, from Andy's.

My tag says Epidendrum first and underneath Oerstedella. I got it from Hausermann's last year. I tried to get the tag in the picture as I knew you would ask.
It's directly in front of the south window with supplemental light. Watered or misted every day. I also have a Dialalia budded up and a mini Catt blooming and another from that tribe on it's second bloom. So, maybe my gift this year is being able to bloom this tribe!?
Thanks for admiring...

katrina has posted photos of her enormous plant, along with her growing method. You can also find photos of the plant in habitat in México growing on a mossy oak limb.
I can attest to the fact that, like all reedy Epidendrums, it's a spider mite magnet. Watch it carefully, especially during a warm dry winter indoors.

You told me that last year. I have watched them closely.
