Like this two colored bloom. Looks completely different from last year and the year before. The first two years the green was limey green. This year it is this lovely olive green. I kind of like it better. We did not do any thing different this year as compared to the previous two years. Same lighting, inside winter/outside summer, same fertilizer schedule. Maybe better attention to individual growing conditions/environment. Hope we are getting better at growing and identifying problems. A lot of trial and error.

Second photo is of last year.

Lovely flowers. I make it a point to do a rebloom posting for all my orchids so I can show everyone what transpired through the years.

Nice plant! I can't say which green I like best, they are nice in different ways. It's always interesting to see how changes in the environment can have such an impact on color. Maybe it was a bit warmer or cooler than last time during a specific moment of bud development, temperature is usually the trigger.

Does anyone know parents of this hybrid. Must have one that has brown sepals somewhere in there.

Has been warmer here, like most places. It may of gotten a bit more sun this summer. And the plant is more mature now.

According to RHS, it is a hybrid between B. nodosa and C. bicolor.
