This clone is widely grown here in Taiwan. As I know, most skinneri are easy plants to cultivate but not all of them are easy to bloom. Heiti Jacobs belongs to the easy-to -bloom group and it is why people like this species often grow it.
The flowering season of C. skinneri also symbolizes the coming of spring. In this season, most of our orchids have survived the cold winter and start to grow or to bloom. Farmers grow rice here also prepare for plowing and sowing.
