Sue, my plant is ready to bloom now. The flowers are deep orange, too. If the weather is fine enough, i can see them in full bloom next week.

Have you had yours bloom yet? Mine took quite some time from the stage of your spikes to actually blooming.

Sue, I purchased this plant in flowering last year. It took a long time for the buds to grow out of the sheath. The photo showed was taken one week ago and now some blooms have opened ,and hence I suppose they will be in full bloom next week.

I have a simliar cross...much more yellow but the orange in yours is fabulous!
