smweaver - the flowers are quite fragrant. C. dowiana smells like a bar of soap to me and C. rex has a more subtle, conventional orchid fragrance. Triumphans smells like Rex, but is more powerful.
Due to the influence of C. Rex, the flowers should last longer than dowiana. I haven't measured the time, though.

Wow! I especially like the subtle blend of colors on the lip. And the fact that it's fragrant is the icing on the cake!

Thank you! I would be interested in knowing what the longevity of the flowers is. So if you wouldn't mind, please let us know when they fade.

I just bought one from Orchid trail a couple of weeks ago. It's worth checking out, they may have more. Such a beautiful plant. All the photos of this cross has been excellent, and yours is no exception. Fingers crossed mine blooms a fraction as lovely as yours.
