Orchids in the genus Isochilus don't really get mentioned much. So here's a little love towards one species in this genus. I've had had this probably since 2005. It was originally from
Tropical Orchid Farm. I love this species for many reasons.
A) It is temperature tolerant.
B) It is very resilient.
C) It is very easy to grow.
D) As long as the growth is mature it will bloom regardless of the time of year it is.
E) The plant/leaves are very attractive even when it is not in bloom.
F) The colors on the flowers are vibrant.
When I got it, the plant had only 4 growths. Now, it is a beast that fills an 8" pot.
