Bifoliate Cattleya question
For those who grow both nobilior and walkeriana, which normally blooms first for you? Tia!

Wild walkeriana normally bloom in fall/winter, but can bloom 2x per year in cultivation.
C. nobilior normally bloom in spring.

Thanks for that Steve, I'm pretty certain that my walkeriana 'Carmela' is spiking.

You could cross the walkeriana and nobilior. I also saved pollen from the nobilior I recently posted, if you're interested.

I don't want to count my blooms before they open, but your nobilior was beautiful. I would definitely be interested in trying a cross!
