Here's a lousy old picture of my bractescens. I'd consider it a miniature, for all the years I've had it and all the growths it has even my seedlings of most are bigger. I don't own your cross or the other parent (Boricans); maybe rehome yours and replace it with a purebred bractescens?
My plant is currently in spike; I'll get some new pictures when it opens (unless the squirrels eat them first, a lot of that this spring). it's been a very easy plant for me.

Wow. I have several things I'd rather rehome. I love the gracefulness if this one. Yours seems smaller than mine which came as 5 pbulbs and three scapes
Here is a whole (well, mostly; it wraps around its mount) plant pic of my bractescens. I've had this plant +/- 20 years, it was a baby on that cork mount when I got it. Bees are already getting to the flowers.
