The mystery orchid which I liked better as a mystery
This one came from the orchid show too and its opening up… I think the colors are weird and rather uuugly…I was kinda hoping for a better surprise..

You don't care for yellow?
I like it, I think its nice! Give it a few days for the colors to settle, maybe you'll think differenly.

And if you still don't love it, put it up for sale or trade in the OB classifieds.
I bet you could find a home for it lickity split.

Thanks everyone for your comments… I was being rushed the other day and I didn’t realize I forgot to post its name.. Blc. Husky Boy 'Romeo' …I love yellows but it’s just the little bit of red on the lip that looks awkward to me and no I haven’t noticed a scent…

I can see that it isn't the solid yellow that is the norm. The tips of it seem to be a brownish tone? Is that what you didn't like? I love the red lip even though it isn't strong. Perhaps when it opens up more, there will be a fragrance.
I have a couple orchids that do nothing for me when they open. Of course, I didn't know that at the time of purchase as they were young. However! Everyone else that sees them, loves them and makes of them. Go figure!
