Time for you species fans to start checking your Lowe's- just picked this up this weekend at one. I don't think it's too bad for a first time bloomer- you can see the progression of growths on it from small seedling size, and this is the first growth showing any sign of a sheath/spike. 2 blooms about 5", thin texture but I don't know how long they've been open, intense rosy fragrance. Color in photos looks a bit washed out to me, it's more mid than light lavender, with pale butter yellowy-white eyes.
