I thought anceps usually blooms in late fall/winter.

Not for me! But yes they are late for some reason. But, I grow mine outdoors; this was a cold winter; and I kept them dry and watered 1x/month Nov - February.

In a greenhouse, watered regularly; or in Southern California climate, they'd probably bloom in fall/winter. And maybe next year temps will be different, and I might try watering every two weeks.

This is the next to last one, perhaps the last one of the year. I have an alba type that is in bud but it may be too late. Or may that will be fall of next year, on schedule :rofl:
This is one of my favorites so far though - love the dark hue
