This just opened with a 14 cm flower of soft pink tepals with a white faced lip that is lined with some magenta striations. I suppose it qualifies as a purpurea striata variety as well. Fragrance is mild and sweet. I named her 'Cotton Candy' because the pink colour reminds me of my childhood addiction 😋. Only one flower and first bloom too. Hopefully as it grows older, it can hold 3 to 5 flowers on a mature plant.
Like all warneris, the plant is short and stout, with broad leaves. It also prefers warm nights in winter, around 16C.
