Those are gorgeous blooms! I love the colors in your recent photos, the blooms look so cheerful and tropical sunset like. Did the color change that much from one blooming to the next, or is it an effect of the lighting/camera?

The blooms are more of a pinkish orange than they were before - they were more yellow then.

It could be very much a factor of environment, the last blooms were in January and the plant was not outside. It's been outside for the summer and has experienced a wider range of temperatures. A couple weeks ago, we were getting nights into the 40's when the buds were midway through developing. Last week, just before they opened, temperatures went back up... it's actually been unseasonably hot here.

Also, the first picture is of this plant's first bloom and I have heard that many orchids' first bloom is a little bit "off."
